Remember what it was like? When @HarleyRouda stripped his employees with pre-existing conditions of their health insurance.
Then fired a woman because she had cancer.
We won’t go back -VOTE @MichelleSteelCA!! #CA48https://www.google.com/amp/s/freebeacon.com/2020-election/ca-dem-cut-employee-health-care-benefits-as-real-estate-executive/amp/ …
“the real story is that the woman with cancer was laid off, along with many of Real Living's over 4,000 employees as part of a company-wide layoff due to a collapse of the real estate market along with the rest of the economy in 2008 / 2009; it had nothing to do with her health”
Before Steel was wrong on wearing masks, she was wrong on Obamacare. She is just wrong for CA48.https://www.ocregister.com/2014/01/20/michelle-steel-growing-the-ranks-of-the-uninsured/ …
I got a call right after the ACA passed from my doctor's office telling me they were dropping me. I remember that very well and didn't like it.
Thank you Harley!
I remember being self-employed & having to pass a physical to get ins. Pregnancy was not covered for the 1st yr. Eventually got coverage through my husband’s job. They changed the plan and raised our price every yr & we had to find new doctors yearly. Also had huge deductibles.
Also, every time he changed employers, had to wing it through 3-6 months of not having insurance and preexisting conditions (including pregnancy) were excluded. Pre-ACA insurance really sucked.
