The OC Board of Supervisors have created chaos and endangered the lives of the people in OC and surrounding counties with their haphazard decision - we had mobs of people close together in the streets near the beaches and in the downtowns. Totally irresponsible!

I live here, I don’t feel like a victim. I am sorry you feel victimized When you think about it, it really is a first world problem....

Sadly @GavinNewsom actions are looking very political by singling out all of OC and likely do not help @HarleyRouda which is a shame. A quick resolution is needed otherwise it will likely play out in the media over the weekend and become more political than it already is.

Easy everybody. @GavinNewsom just asking us to avoid the beach; for a little while; not for the rest of our lives; very small inconvenience to avoid a virus flare-up. If folks had acted responsibly & had practiced social distancing, this closure would not have been required.

Speaking as an OC resident: OC got called out because we were only one of the few that reopened last weekend, and we residents overcrowded the beaches. Some beaches were worse than 4th of July weekend.
