Another example of how the VMT thing got distorted: Jake Tapper just now asked Buttigieg, "You said that a mileage tax showed, quote, a lot of promise as a way to help pay for the plan." That's not an accurate quote! He said it showed a lot of promise. He was speaking generally

The anti-vaccine-passport is not a pro-liberty movement. It's an attempt to police and control how businesses ensure the safety of their premises - all for the benefit of a subset of a population who wish to use the property of others without regard to the health of others.

Starting to wonder if 19-second video clips from interviews aren’t the best way to tell stories about complex policies.

This story got blown way out of proportion and out of context. Buttigieg was never in a million years going to propose VMT for infrastructure this year. Congress isn't interested in that either.

A death sentence for Democracy unless the Senate acts. Handing control of deciding who wins elections to politicians, not the voters, is the beginning of the end.

Republicans didn't win this election. And they failed to overturn it. So, they made it easy to overturn the next election, so they don't have to win it.

Between this bill & Trump endorsing a far-right congressman primarying the incumbent secretary of state who refused to help Trump steal the election, there is a huge risk that Georgia will have Republicans running its 2024 election who brazenly want to deny Dems any rightful wins

One of most dangerous parts of GA voter suppression bill allows state legislature to appoint majority of state election board & take over county election boards in order to challenge election results "It will make what we all lived through in 2020 child’s play" says

After weeks of complaints about not having a press conference so the President can directly address the most pressing issues facing the country, the press failed to ask a single question about THE most pressing issue facing the country.

Biden's offering an incredible, honest, and effective answer to the question about the mother who sent a nine-year old to border. Speaking to the desperation that mother must be feeling and how he can address that in-country is substantively and tonally perfect.

Having served on active duty with two marksmanship awards, I’m aware AR-15 doesn’t stand for assault rifle. But I keep saying it because it’s descriptive. And because it bothers people who care more about initials than the fact that civilians are being slaughtered.
