    The anti-vaccine-passport is not a pro-liberty movement. It's an attempt to police and control how businesses ensure the safety of their premises - all for the benefit of a subset of a population who wish to use the property of others without regard to the health of others.

    DeSantis says here that he will endeavor to forbid *private sector* from requiring proof of vaccination from customers. He specifically mentions movie theaters, sports, and theme parks as venues he would wish to prohibit from protecting the safety of employees and other customers

    This story got blown way out of proportion and out of context. Buttigieg was never in a million years going to propose VMT for infrastructure this year. Congress isn't interested in that either.

    NEW, per spokesman for on VMT: "The Secretary was having a broad conversation about a variety of ways to fund transportation. To be clear, he never said that VMT was under consideration by the White House as part of this infrastructure plan— and it is not."

    Republicans didn't win this election. And they failed to overturn it. So, they made it easy to overturn the next election, so they don't have to win it.

    The state legislature having more power in elections is underappreciated. Three of the 5 state election board members are appointed by the legislature (booting the SoS), and the board can replace county officials. wrote more about this recently
