Imagine how much more advanced society would be today if women, who comprise half the world’s brain power, were socially & intellectually enfranchised from the beginning of civilization.

That’s like saying nine women can make a baby in a month.

fun fact - increasing the quantity of researchers may severely determent the process of ...research (pardon the tautology) ,Because everyone gets his own conflicting results on a single test , and mass peer pressure may lead the research the wrong way

Not in capitalism, where it is more profitable to keep the disease uncurable and treat the symptoms and invent health insurance than it is to cure the disease. Doesn't mattter if you have 30 women or 3 men, the disease stays viable.
-
Not really. It's great if company A can treat a disease so you wouldn't have to live with it, if you now value your life over some money. But for company B it would be way more profitable to find a cure for the disease.

If that thought process worked we wouldn’t have had to two World Wars. One would’ve been enough.

No cause 10,000 people would cost more to fund vs. 3. Nobody works for free George. With benefits assume $100k each x 10,000 = $1-billion to fund that size research team vs. $300k. See how quickly the ROI goes negative?

No. Maybe longer you may have more people, more arrogance and more proofs to fail. You assume that more ppl means higher iq not the case. Iq is distributed randomly it is on the one end of the curve, just because its a taller bell doesn't mean taller end

There’s a cap to it. I agree that more people researching the same subject might advance it faster but up to a capped point. Depends on the restrictions of the subject of research too.
-
For example, by the same reasoning having two women carry a baby would decrease the gestation period by half. And that doesn’t makes sense. Some things take the same time regardless of the resources available.
