Probably a bit strong language wise and some intense emotional stuff. I wouldn't recommended it for a kid that young. Keep inspiring them with building lego spacecraft and save this one for when they're a little older

Unfortunately Chris.... It BOMBED! Probably because it downplayed the fact that this was an AMERICAN accomplishment.. by AMERICANS... And the movie failed to showcase the AMERICANS planting the AMERICAN flag....

Because patriotism is not defined by a flag. Do you think the Apollo program was about planting a flag on an uninhabitable rock? It was about beating the Russians, and proving to the World what we are capable of when we work together. Wernher Von Braun was German by the way.

I took away something different. A study of death and a man (and the wives) dealing with it throughout the process. The Space Program was a backdrop to it.

Patriotic is such a strange thing. I used to be proud to be American. Now that trump has turned us into isolationist country I hate what he has made us stand for. We used to help the poorest countries, we sent aid world wide. Now we send soldiers and weapons.

And will soon be amongst the poor countries thanks to the massive over leveraged DEBT!
