    A good article worth reading. The point about power to amend, I think, does not cover the fact that even amendments and modifications are subject to approval of the unelected. Control of amendments para 4. Subsection 30 :

    An idea to stop dirty hands spreading disease: put wash basins in a lobby outside the toilet area and use a camera. Dirty hands kill many 1000s. It would avoid futile hand washing inside, only to use a filthy handle on exit and radically reduce pressure on the NHS.

    I thoroughly disagree with what this man says. But it is a warning of the hell apartheid will bring unless separate development, S African style, is halted. The stupidity and short term political callousness is beyond belief. They are putting a match to society, for what?

    'Orders' does he? The arrogance and the ignorance. Handing over our waters as a common resource rankled with us for nearly 50 years. So unless they are prepared to offer us the French wine growing regions, Spanish olive plantations, and Italian tomato fields, they can go whistle.

    Britain has been an exemplary & highly compliant EU member. Both France and Germany were fined more times for breaking EU rules. Yet the EU still threatens "punishment", negotiates grudgingly, with tricks, traps and ill faith. With friends like the EU, we have no enemies.

    This may come as a complete surprise to many supporters, but the EU trade negotiator Michel Barnier will be looking after the interests of the 27 countries that are members of the EU. Strangely, there is no requirement for him to look after the interests of a non-member!
