It doesn't. Its equal to yours. Its right to life supercedes your bodily autonomy for s short period of time unless your life is in danger. Then your RTL supercedes theirs. It's an exchange that's been a part of reproduction for literally millinia.

Some questions. 1. If the fetus is inside an 11 yo girl raped by a family member and who can't physically carry a pregnancy to term without serious medical consequences, whose rights are superior? Who makes that decision, and on what legal/ethical basis or framework?

Obviously if her life is threatened, she would have an abortion at her doctors advice. An exception does not prove the rule. Your side likes to take the outlying situation and use it to prove the majority is right. That's not the case.

That doesn't stop you from forcing pregnancy, like it's nothing, on victims of incest and rape. Are you aware that like 34 states give rapists parental rights? Your entire opinion is all about making women second class. Who hurt you?

I'm not advocating for forced pregnancy. No forced pregnancy, ever.

You said the raped 11 year old should be forced to remain pregnant. She was forced to get pregnant too. Ergo, you are for forced pregnancy by the state.

You cant read well can you? That would be between her and her doctor. Since 11 year olds aren't physically capable of giving birth without severe risk to their lives, I am pretty sure that wouldn't happen. But don't let that bit of common sense stop you...

It happened to a 9 year old in Latin America just last year. Antichoice priests forced her into it. That’s the world you are advocating for.

Forced her into the pregnancy? That's abhorrent. Why did the priests have any say in her medical decisions?

Wait one minute. You have a problem with priests having a say? Then, if you are intellectually honest, you must also have a problem with the religious zealots in Congress, on orders from forced birth pastors, having any say in a women's medical choices. Be rigorous in thought.

As for medical issues, some regulation is necessary or things like female circumcision would be legal. Or do you object to all legal intervention and oversight into all medical practices?

Yes, we need regulation. Abortion is highly regulated, and extremely safe. Much safer than giving birth.

Except for the human being that is being killed in an abortion. We complicate the abortion issue a great deal, when it really boils down to is it a human being or not? Science clearly says it's a human being. You cant just kill another human being in our country.
