Hello new followers! I usually post about sustainable energy and solutions to climate change. To capitalise on your attention (as one is supposed to do in these situations) let me share my thoughts on the question I get a lot - “what can I personally do about climate change?”

I used to answer “cycle/walk instead of drive or get an EV, insulate your house, don’t fly much and eat less red meat” - these are things you can do to reduce your personal carbon footprint. However, system change is far more important than individual behaviour change -

and most people have the capacity to make a great difference though their work, family, education and community activities. So think about what unique influences you have in your life to make sustainable energy systems cheaper and better than what we have now.
