Of course prioritisation is needed. But integrated assessment models say that net zero ghg emissions are needed by mid-century to achieve 1.5 degrees, that requires transformation of all energy systems all over the world. That’s not a value statement, it’s a model output

Frustrating because people don’t really get how energy poor much of India is. Can’t imagine it’s a real view to demand the poor to make sacrifices while the rich can continue to emit.

Note all the blue slithers related to energy efficiency. All but totally ignored in Irish policy and plans. Ireland’s per capita emissions are amongst the highest in the world. Ireland is one of the wealthiest nations on earth, yet we remain the laggard of the EU. No ambition.
Here something to think about how one policy (supporting EVs) can cripple a much more effective one (public transport). This was certainly a pretty bad idea - still, neither public transport nor EVs alone will decarbonise transport. Policy making can do better than this.

Effectively you are asking for unlimited resources and a scattergun approach which will achieve nothing and may even be counter productive. Safe 4th gen Thorium nuclear will be the only effective method.
