I asked the Prison and Probation Service why Julian #Assange doesn't have enough access to documents and lawyers despite that being a fundamental right and received an answerpic.twitter.com/vbzygEzz9R

So Assange's lawyers, is this a boilerplate reply? To me, it looks very much like one. It is a shame that supposedly democratic nations like UK @foreignoffice brazenly violate their duties under the UN Convention against TORTURE https://twitter.com/NilsMelzer/status/1211812964417843200?s=20 … @NilsMelzer #FreeAssange

(2/6) My official findings, supported by medical experts, unquestionably provide “reasonable ground to believe” that UK officials contributed to #Assange’s psychological torture or ill-treatment, whether through perpetration, attempt, complicity or other forms of participation.

Deny, obfuscate and fail to distinguish between convicted & remand prisoners. "We don't keep people in solitary" so Assange is can't be in solitary. "Prisoners have complex healthcare needs" so Assange is sedated. "Prisoners can go to the library for 30 mins a week" Enough said.

I received a very similar response from the Home Office when expressing concern of JA's treatment & health. very disingenuous & patronising when considering the facts of #Assange's health, predicament & facts of the case. turn up the heat. they will crack.

If this matches mine - did it mention supplying computer for Crown and prosecution evidence ( not his own 40,000 pages) and a 'minimum of 30 minutes per week' library presumably set by his jailers. I think that fits under the definition of torture like water deprivation ?
