I love it when HHoP arrives at the weekend. Great start to a Sunday morning today with another terrific podcast. What an unexpectedly smashing little film Jack the Ripper is. I think I saw the European version - no red blood, but several ladies with no vests on.

I guess the smoothness of the ride depends on whether or not you’re doing the On The Buses sequels…technically they’re prehistoric epics. There’s a cast of hundreds in that holiday camp and two dinosaurs in the main roles.

Anyone proposing to watch #CreaturesTheWorldForgot might like to know that you can 'enjoy' the film at 2x speed or even quicker and not be any less aware of what's going on, than if you watched it at regular speed. Thus you can waste significantly less time on it.

Just listened to the terrific discussion of #DontLookNow What a magnificent film. As Liz notes, how extraordinary to take one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and to make it claustrophobic, threatening and scary. Sutherland and Christie are wonderful.
