We should also move the band to one of the end zones (not in the corner of the end zone). Literally cannot hear them at the opposite end of the stadium.

So similar to what we saw around 2000? When they were in the north end zone but in the stands (unlike up to 2013 when they were in the north but on the field)pic.twitter.com/ct7UGquWZQ

Maybe unpopular opinion: Jaws sucks. A couple beats of band and a couple beats of silence? No thanks. Early in the game when we were still in it it was louder this week without Jaws than it had been quite a while with it. Loud stadiums don't depend on band for volume.

The point is not to be the noise, point is to lead in to it. Jaws cuts off a few seconds before the offense sets & then the crowd gets loud. TCU game was loud because it was a night sellout, full stop. Proper comparison would be OSU, Mizzou, Ohio, or ND. All were louder than TCU

First, the student section does it anyways but it is much more chaotic. Second, my biggest complaint is that if they were going to take it out, they never replaced it with anything. It leaves a large gap energy wise and as the first reason says, everyone just does it anyway.
