I feel like the EPISODES missed the cameo characters from HALF-LIFE 2 who offered individual sequences their own special touch. Characters like Father Grigori or Cubbage, or even the Fisherman in LOST COAST. Griggs & Sheckley were fun, but just used rebel skins, y'know?

Baldwin's Sheckley is used like, four different times, in different scenarios. Kinda cheap. I guess the White Forest appearance can get away with being the same character, but... I dunno, some of the special touches got a bit lost.

HL to me isn't really about Embodying the Fredmon. In figs 1-3, I don't feel like I recognise that guy. HL2 is about being thrown into a world that's a LITTLE bit like the one you remember, but impossible to call home. At arm's length. IMO, the same is true for the man himself.
