ICE spox: "ICE is coordinating with state and federal officials to offer any assistance needed in the furtherance of the prosecution...If the need arises, the agencies will remain in coordination with ICE to determine whether it is necessary that Rosa be present in the US."
ICE confirmed that she was booked in El Paso county jail, where ICE officers issued a detainer (request to hold her). "On 1/29, she was released from jail to the custody of ICE officers. Rosa was removed to Mexico the same day as a noncitizen subject to a final order of removal."
