Pretty garbage take here. Philosophy is useful to Christianity insofar as it aligns with its metaphysics. Platonism is better than phenominalism but like all worldly philosophy it is ultimately a dead end. He's playing things by the book here.

I'm cery critical of the Latin west but because it is far too Platonist, and that tendency to cuck to secular academics still exists today - which is why the west is atheistic with a fake pope. I don't worship Augustin like Catholics but De Trinitate is pretty profound
