I am tired of seeing “even in London, they walk” argument. They have a myriad of options to pick from apart from walking. Not to mention pavements are in place to ensure people’s safety. Someone who decides to eat garri & one who has no choice but to eat garri aren’t same reality

You don’t make the alternative available AFTER distrupting the norm. You make the alternative exist alongside the norm while letting the people know that they have 6 months, a year, whatever, to get used to the new. It’s a state of 20 million people for goodness sake.

Who enacts such a policy without thoughts of a viable alternative. You think Lagosians love okada so much if they had a safer choice eg keke or mini buses. Yet banned the only option of moving from home to bus stop because he has cars so he doesn't know how it feels

Immigrant rights are human rights. Extending Trump's immigration ban to Nigeria, Eritrea, Myanmar, Tanzania, Kyrgyzstan, and Sudan is pure racism and hate and makes the world smaller and poorer for all of us.
