Life's so beautiful, sometimes we forget. All we need to do is wake up and see the sunrise 😍.
My heart went,
"Oh god, we're gonna have an amazing life aren't we?"
I love to teach!
I feel teaching gives you the power to connect different concepts and see them in a way you could never see while just reading them.
I could also say it's in my DNA, as mummy and papa both are college professors :))

Using Sahil Bloom's 1-1-1 journaling.
Seems to work better than anything else I was trying before.
I guess the key to all habits is to start with an extremely low friction version and then very slowly build up to a better one.
reference:
During this process, I've soft-bricked my old phone 20ish times. Wiped my HDD 3-4 times, and, well, there have been minor electrical explosions here and there 😂
I love breaking things, pressing random buttons, and experimenting with things to find out how they work!
As a kid, I used to break toy cars, take their motors out and try making my own things.
I would totally do that again, even with a bigger car lol.
What about you?

Every week, I'll share something I love about myself.
You can hop on too, by sharing something you love about yourself :))
We're all unique humans with lovely minds.
Let's pause and celebrate that, before we continue on our own journeys.
Because I believe -
"There's no one in the world, who can stop a naman, comfortable in his own skin."
This doesn't mean that we stop growing, or become complacent. But that we encourage ourselves on the way.
We use this energy to keep us going!

I'm a pretty awesome human being, ngl
You are super awesome too!
There are some things about me that I love unapologetically!
Things that I wouldn't change for anything.
I want to grow comfortable with more parts of me, and acknowledge the awesome ones too.

15 Days
Better late than never :)
Results:
I used to love going on walks, but always did so with music.
Now, I'm comfortable with no tech walks.
Plus, I love the conversations I have with myself and how my thoughts flow during them.
Thanks, @SahilBloom! twitter.com/HajelaNaman/st…
Wait a second 🤔
Reflections cannot be limited to just the end of the year.
Doesn't feel quite right.
If we're following a process/habit-driven approach this year, let's find a way to reflect every week/every month. Using those reflections to course correct 😇

Here's a challenge from @SahilBloom's newsletter today:
Daily 15-minute tech-free walks between now and year end:
• No phone
• No music
• No podcasts
• No articles
• No audiobooks
I'm taking part and the challenge starts today.
Join in!
I could add a ton more, but what if we all build a collection together?
In the replies below, share some of your favourite music and videos. Wouldn't it be beautiful for all of us, and new year's eve
3. Hey Tim - Kold
A beautiful and very personal story told through the art of video!
If one day I make a video titled 'the story of my life' I want it to look visually like this.
4. I don't care - Live - Ed
Ed is a beautiful man, especially when he's building his songs live on the looping pad. This is just one of his works of art!
3. I'm yours - Jason Mraz
This 6-minute video is one of the best things to exist.
I love every part of it, especially when he asks the audience to sing along.
P.S. This doesn't mean everything went well.
Nope, we also had our fair share of low points. A lot of them.
We had a rollercoaster ride - just as it is for everyone :)
I could keep going, but the point is - 2022 was a very different year. And I'm proud of how I handled it!
One wish I have is that I use everything I've learnt from '22 and live by it in '23
The work is already in progress :)
We got comfortable going to college, and managed it pretty well so far.
I remember hating offline college when this year started. Slowly, I've learnt to navigate around it.
The two trips we made this year legit blew our mind.
2021 me couldn't fathom how much fun I had!
Also, we had fun drinking - because it's the best around people who make you feel at home.
We learnt to be alive this year, we learnt fundamental values.
That in the end, it's about living in the moment.
That, acceptance of the things you cannot control, is freedom.
That, happiness is a choice!
It would be lovely if you could smile when you see this.
Smile the widest you can 😁
Because through that, you light up the world around you, and inside you :))
We believe in a future where filmmakers don’t need big checks to make a big impact.
Thanks to 4212 people from 72 countries, Project Iceman became a reality and is eligible for Best Documentary Feature at the Oscars in 2023.
