The fact that people see "For a better tomorrow" and argue that thats not the American way are kinda inadvertently making a statement right there.
Changing Superman’s motto tells you that the American Way has just come to mean “for profit and with as little concern for humanity as possible.” Fix that and maybe it’s worth fighting for.

You could do a whole comic run framing “The American Way” I would pay a copious amount of money to get a

Just exploring the positive and negative of what such a way is and what it could be is something worth pondering for sure I would say

I took the change to represent less of a rejection of America and more to show Superman belongs to the world. At this point, spreading the American way sounds pretty imperialistic.

Post WW2, the American Way was desirable. Post Reagan it meant dollars over morals.
