I just asked if you were suggesting that. I don't understanding what you're inferring. What are you saying?

I am saying that if Moses was threatened with death for not giving his child the shadow of the sign of the Covenant, how much more so Baptism, the actual sign?

Okay, so -- be gracious with me -- Are you saying my children could die because they're not baptized, since "how much more so" they should receive baptism?

Doesnt that mean that ur trust is in baptism to escape judgement instead of: Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died...raised..at the right hand of God..intercedes. u cant have it both ways

God commands baptism. God takes his sacraments very seriously. If one partakes of the Supper in an unworthy manner they may bring condemnation on themselves. One who is Baptied, without uniting it with faith receives "worse"punishment.

he commands all those who repent & believe to be baptized. Those warnings are not to forsake beginning confidence (Heb 3:14) infants had no confidence at their involuntary baptism so those warnings make no sense in their context. They do to those who believed & turn away

Only if we ignore Christ's teaching of 2000+ years covenant signs application and abandon Biblical federal headship altogether. Otherwise, the consistent witness of Christ to his covenant people is "I will be God to you and your children", a formula repeated in Peter's sermon.1/2

So again are ALL baptized children saved.. Everyone in the NC is. A promise from God is a promise it is not a hopefully maybe IF YOU do xyz. The NC promises are God will do & the result is all in the NC know God and have all their sins forgiven. We're not going to agree u know

Signs aren't the reality - they're signs, they point to a reality - but one must actually follow the sign. Both circumcision and baptism are signs of the promises of God, but those promises must be believed. Esau - for example - didn't believe the promises of God.
