Where did I even hint at that?
No one is saved apart from faith - baptism, like circumcision, doesn't save, but pointed to a promised reality for the one who believes. We might not agree, but at least you might come to an actual understanding of what we believe rather than these very confused arguments. :)

Not confused by your views, not the 1st Ive heard them or similar from other Presbys & worse. Its the forcing of those views into the text that make such a mess imho & turn what should be wonderful Actual promises to the one who Can Not meet conditions into an uncertain hopefully
-
It's as if you've abandoned all 2000+ years of redemptive history prior to Acts, as if it were a mere parenthesis to God's real plan. God gave actual promises to Abraham, and we're grafted into those, not vice versa.

LOL Just repetitive now. I actually believe the NC has the better promises that God himself will meet the condition of Giving the faith required to ALL in the NC & thats why it is Better. Thats the confidence. You believe God will do *IF I Do* thats the difference. Night

You're seem to be saying that what is "better" = "an invisible group will be saved" How is that different from the OC?
-
"You believe God will do *IF I Do* " <--- Yes, for the author of Hebrews says clearly: "We must pay much closer attention....lest we drift away from it.... We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold firm to the end... Let us therefore strive to enter that rest... "
