    Meanwhile in Europe you can't undershoot your job in tech by $60k since most places don't pay that much in the first place. The wage gap in tech between even affordable places in the US and Europe is stunning, and yet we wonder why US companies lure so much of our talent.

    In a past negotiation for a job I didn’t get for various reasons, I gave them a number $60k below market. I had no god damn idea what I was doing.

    So regarding this question, there was a study a few years ago saying “omagad you’ll lose your data” and juste a few months after “omagad they were wrong you won’t lose your data” 👌

    Question for hosters ? Or any other team using a lot of hard drives? Is there any risk leaving an SSD without any power supply for a long period ? Is there a risk of data loss ? Is there any stats available somewhere about that ?

    Seulement 4 entreprises sur 10 sont préparées en cas de cyber-attaque de grande ampleur ⏭ un chiffre qui me semble assez cohérent, une vrai progression en 2019 sur ces sujets, en particulier les exercices de crises !

    Allez je balance: c’est Suez qui casse sa tirelire pour chercher un CERT Manager (si vous voulez hijacker un recruteur je peux mettre en relation)

    Jeu du lundi: identifier l'entreprise qui recherche son CERT Manager (bien payé pour le coup). Les chiffres m'indiquent Thalès mais je ne vois pas où Thalès aurait besoin d'un CERT Manager. Une idée ?

    Avec le bon lien 😅

    Visiblement le lien relayé par ne fonctionne plus donc pour le poste de Head of CERT (ouais faut bien parler anglais!) chez ENGIE c’est par ici : C’est basé à La Défense, pas en Belgique. Il y a déjà des interviews en cours je précise.
