One year later, @JillianKayM talks to an Evergreen student who was assaulted by protesters, an alum who advised his sister against attending, and a couple of former faculty who think that maybe, just maybe, the “social justice” agenda will not end well.

But, you can't have it both ways. Either "social justice warriors" are so ingrained into the "leftist" academy that the whole of the institution is irredeemable or, in actual fact, they make a small group of disruptors that don't represent the culture of universities at all.

I would blame those who identify a "free speech crisis" at the academy of creating a false dilemma. In practice, there can be both people who disrupt free speech while free speech continues on at the university as a whole.

This is the first part. It does include numbers - eg 90% of UK universities censor speech around trans issues, atheism, Islam, Israel & 'Lad culture' - but is more focused on prominent cases involving administration of top tier universities.https://areomagazine.com/2017/10/24/the-state-of-the-campus-and-womens-self-censorship/ …

I'm not sure how many cases of people having to leave their jobs for suggesting consistent liberal ethics or demands for papers to be retracted for wrongthink or surveys showing an extreme ideological bias or student self-censoring before we declare a crisis.
