AIUI that, plus that 'block' rather than 'mute' prevents people quote tweeting, replying etc. - so it's restricting their speech

Yes, because it is an official account. Kind of like a having a Gov Facebook page and only letting people who agree comment

It may be overturned on appeal? He has a separate official account and my understanding is the lawsuit was brought against his personal account. I assume this decision would also apply to any other elected official. I also assume Trump can still “mute.”
