O__O
I do cherish being able to have a sex life without having lots of babies and being able to have a career.
Time will tell whether this leads to the death of the west but, right now, you sound a bit hysterical #CalmDownDear https://twitter.com/Paul_Bergkamp/status/999223076448501760 …

Thanks for the colonial style "they're only barbarians when they don't do it our way" rationalising.
-
You're welcome. I make no pretences to being a cultural relativist. Cultures which allow women to decide whether or not to marry and have children are better than ones that don't.
-
Yes for another generation or two, while they are still around. Hmmm been here before, methinks.
-
Yes and as I said before, if countries which give women full productive freedom and career opportunities are doomed to failure, this can;t be resolved by taking those rights away to prevent a takeover by cultures which would take those rights away. That just hastens the fall.
-
That has nothing to do with actively denigrating the role of mothers and motherhood in society as well as creating economic circumstances which make starting a family impossible.
-
I'm all for creating economic circumstances which help the poorest. People must still be allowed to express their own opinions on motherhood tho.
-
yes, including positive opinions on the importance of families, raising a family, and doing a good job of it.
-
How are you going to make people have positive opinions of this? Most of them do. It's still the default thing to do. But some don't. Then they don't.
