The @NellieBowles piece on @jordanbpeterson tries to portray him as believing that that the only legitimate role for women in society is in the home. This is a completely false assertion. 1/

Ya that hack @HPluckrose says the same dumb shit about Peterson. At least she implied it to me when she tried to deny that the further we get from our nature the less happy it makes us. Not sure why anyone follows her.

This would be the different opinion. You said this & then when I said you seemed to be failing to grasp the concept of overlapping populations, you said "I’d LOVE to see you argue with JPB about this. You tell him that we don’t need to embrace biology."https://twitter.com/femalestuds/status/926834079521050626 …

Western civilization functions very well. The women must take care of children and home while men build the world. Evolution > opinions

I think Peterson is one of the most misinterpreted individuals by people on all sides of the political spectrum. Some try to manipulate his ideas to support their own misogyny while other try to depict him as some sort of fascist so they don't have to deal with his arguments.

Well, of course, I've read it. But the idea that a woman's "natural place" is a meaningless term seems like it is ignoring biology. Having worked with enough females who seem to lose their mojo half-way through their grad program, I know that you can't do this.

I'm just finishing a piece about this. We are overlapping populations. This means that everyone will have natural preferences, abilities & interests and the distributions will vary by gender but it tells us little about any individual.
