Nope. People concerned about campus intolerance rooted in postmodern ideas include everyone who cares about the future of the universities and doesn't share those views. The largest group of respondents I got for my survey into this were radical feminists.https://twitter.com/thomas_lord/status/998299327700262912 …

What? This appears to be Judith Butler on Foucault which doesn't relate to my tweet.

Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about radical feminists on campus. Butler happens to be just up the street so she came to mind.

You think Judith Butler is a radical feminist? They are completely opposed. The radfems are nearly always gender critical and do not accept trans identity. That was their complaint about campus SocJus ideology.

Butler is not "gender critical"? This is big news.

Gender critical in this context means that they think what makes a woman is her reproductive system. They are trans exclusionary & consequently hate Butler. I cannot explain the difference between those feminists known as 'TERFs' & Judith Butler.

I think a few things are conflated there. Generally speaking, I think approx. all of the (mutually disagreeing) people you are talking about draw a sex/gender distinction and that trans exclusion is (for most of them) in sex-exclusive contexts.

That Butler has a sane (imo) view on trans self-determination, agency, etc. does not negate that she is "gender critical" in the sense of "one who engages in a critique of gender".

Of course not but that isn't what is meant by the gender-critical radfems (AKA TERFs). I'm muting this conversation now. You do not discuss in good faith which I should have expected from your initial comments.
