A problem with @thomas_lord's critique via @davelab6 is he is dealing primarily with the "pure philosophy" of the original texts, which @HPluckrose points to as the source of ideas that have subsequently been bastardized by cultural, political & academic 'interdisciplinarians'.
He certainly sounds like it. Can you possibly be unaware of this? Have you read much research coming out of them? Seen the student protests?

I make no such claim.
@thomas_lord implies that he is, yet he reeks of insufferable pedant, so it's doubtful. -
I do make the claim having been focusing on it for some considerable time now. You do have the picture. I said this recently.pic.twitter.com/EQO4vsqzmd

I appreciate you pulling
@hpluckrose into the chat between me and Tom, but, I'm not really hearing a substantial rebuttal to Tom's points from either of you. Please do go on :) -
I mean, neither Hobbes, Rousseau, Locke, Mill, Smith, or Nietzsche were at Unite The Right, right?

Make your point, if you even have one with that ridiculous comment. Or are you simply building up a nice fake strawman so you can knock it down? Well done!

So impressive!
