I deal with ideology, ethics, culture and psychology. There will certainly be good arguments for and against various ideas of liberalism in an economic sense but you'll need to go elsewhere for those. I do not know them.

but anyways. the problem of prejudice and racism is i think to a large degree a problem of inequality. and inequality in societies are the result of socioeconomic policies. from tax policies, to the education system, health care, social housing, public transport, etc.
