I'm trying to answer you honestly! I don't know how you can account for whether your (assumed) support for gender equality is based on the time & place in which you live or if you have an ethical rationale based on humanism for it. Only you can reflect on this.

Well, we'll have to disagree. I do think cultures which give women & ethnic, religious & sexual minorities are morally superior to ones that don't. If you also value those things, you will too, but might be balking at the words 'morally superior' because it *feels* colonialist
