Can't cite Crenshaw in an academic paper in any way without including her in references and if you tried to talk about intersectionality without citing Crenshaw, you'd be asked to do so. She coined the term.

Newton may well be a hero of physics, and we still consider him the inventor of calculus, even now, though we use Leibniz' notation, and the framework of limits, developed a century after Newton's death! And yet no one talks about the "ghosts of quantities past"
