This might be a good time to complain about the weather as all the Aussies should be asleep and can't mock me. I can't cope with this heat! I am completely bloody disabled by it. Can't even think straight. I think I'll have to write in a bath of cold water if this keeps up.

Indians are generally too polite to mock Brits for their inability to cope with the heat. Perhaps you should cultivate this gene in your parsi roots. If all else fails, culturally appropriate it.

In Luanda, Angola people take out winter coats at around 20, In Pará, Brazil, where 23c is the lowest temperature, all year round, even at night, nobody has winter wear but hey say it's cold when it's 23 :) My wife (from Pará) wears sweaters in august in europe, if it gets to 22c

This (sometime) Australian is here :) That said, 26° here is pretty warm, because none of the houses are designed for it. I'm going to be writing copy in the middle of the night the way it's going atm.

I'm in (and grew up in) Florida in the US. Some houses don't have heaters, they just bottle the summer air and release it when it dips below 70F(21C).😏
