I have never claimed we shouldn't be selective in who we listen to. I think we should be very selective. Select the best proponents of the best arguments from as wide a range of political & ideological views as possible. Pick those who aim for balance & honesty & admit errors.

You honestly tweet too much. These arguments you get into aren't doing anything. They make no impact. People aren't going to change their minds over twitter. This can't be good for your mental health. Seriously, youre going to drive yourself crazy

Respectfully, why don’t you let her be the judge of what is or isn’t good for her mental health? If you feel overwhelmed by the volume of tweets from an account, you have the option to mute certain keywords. Also, it’s rather rude to tell someone that their tweets have no impact.

You don't have to listen to or justify yourself to the haters. Run your Twitter account how you want; if people don't like it, they can unfollow you.
