eg, I currently have someone insisting I am a leftist who hates her for caring about pro-life women who feel forced to give babies up for adoption rather than that I, a British writer on academic leftism & SocJus don't actually know anything about adoption policies in Alabama.
#2 is a mistake often made by people with a deep commitment to 1 idea or who think there is only one way to look at things. They tend to take it very personally if you decline to take it on & accuse you of hypocritically silencing debate unless you consider say Jung, immediately
It should be clear why anyone would not want to engage with someone who is being abusive or can't/won't have an honest conversation.
#4 is where the entitlement really comes in. "You're closed to opposing ideas if you don't listen to mine!' In reality, your insight that 'liberalism is cancer' might well get passed over for someone presenting a thoughtful argument about irreparable flaws inherent to liberalism.
