Here in the US it has to be imminent violence that happens - like “see that guy over there, go kill him,” and then they do. Not some far-off idea about euthanasia in general, whether or not you consider that violent.

Plus the imminent violence needs to be illegal. If you’re arguing for euthanasia to be legal, you’re not inciting violence, you’re making a case for law.

Precisely. If you want to argued that euthanasia is a form of violence which should be illegal, you'd also need to have the freedom of speech to argue it.

Everyone talks about Free Speech, the devil is in the details. My ideal is absolute Free Speech, but in UK we seem to be intent on censoring even trivial stuff. I gave the example of euthanasia to show that Free Speech should be near absolute.

Painless killing involves some form of intervention, whether that intervention, drugs inserted into a catheter or an unexpected shotgun blast to the head constitutes ‘force’ and therefore ‘violence’ would seem to be the issue.
