LOL! Apparently, I conflated her *lack of applause* for fat people talking about intentionally losing weight with shaming people who do that. I wonder how I made that mistake?pic.twitter.com/U1cO7nNg8O

And objecting to fat activists saying if I tell people I have successfully lost weight & maybe even, God forbid, seek support and encouragement in that endeavour, I am killing fat people does not imply 'acting like fat activists are the most powerful.' Ludicrous, ludicrous people

Why are people so unreasonable on this issue? I had the opposite. People said I'm promoting obesity because I think fat people should be able to go to the beach without harassment. And I had to block a long-term follower who went off on a tirade about how disgustingly fat I was.

Apparently, I promote obesity by (a) being fat (& I am not even medically overweight, though I would like to lose a few kilos for aesthetic reasons) & (b) thinking fat people should not be personally bullied.

LOL. That's your thin privilege speaking! (Which autocorrect wants to change to "think privilege". I'm calling it now. "Think" privilege -- i.e. having a brain & being able to use it correctly -- is going to be the next big bugbear.)

"The fatphobia that kills fat people" no I'd say the heart problems and diabetes are what's doing that.

Yes. I think people really don’t understand the impact of the obesity epidemic. Once more studies come out they’ll be shocked at the impact it’s having❤️

How many studies need to come out? It's quite evident that obesity is one of the leading causes of death in America. I doubt people like them would care even if there were a million more studies proving them wrong.

There are many studies on obesity but I was referring more to sociological studies. Specifically the impact of obesity on the working class, how big industries profit off obesity in more detail, how revolutions will be really hard if the working class is obese. Stuff like that😐

I can’t believe this fatphobia movement is real. Obesity related chronic diseases are real. We also know making fun of people for their appearances is not nice. How are people not getting these simple concepts? This must be an online thing to test our sanity.

"fatphobia that kills fat people" ffs, so, appropriation of slogans from other movements is fine. what's the argument? a tiny % misdiagnosed by doctors who attribute all to fat? testes solve that, now compare with % that die earlier. I forget, HEAS they have their own "science"
