I'm not? I rather thought I had a small but respectable place in the discussion, anonymous Green Left Zealot. Who are you, exactly? Where is your place and how can I aspire to it?https://twitter.com/DeepEcologyAU/status/992207959005347840 …

I can't help you if you can't even acknowledge the existence of toxic masculinity. That's why your tone policing is so empty. You're not at the discussion table, on the Left. You can delude yourself that you are but you're not.

‘The Left’ for more than a century, was about putting the people first; that left would have had no truck with as divisive and misanthropic an idea as the claim that one half of the population was ‘toxic’.

What’s more, throughout the twentieth century women voted on average on the right of the political spectrum while men on average voted on the left http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/pdf/10.1177/0192512100214007 …

Also "I can't have a debate with you until you accept my basic premise first" is not the way to have a debate: it's a way of making sure that you win, whatever the outcome of the debate.

Clearly she is the final arbiter of leftism, duuh. Don't you see how it automatically follows from your non-acceptance of a particularly radical piece of radfem dogma that you cannot be in favour of a collectivist approach to the political economy?

...isn’t “toxic masculinity” all masculinity? @RayMcCue has been looking at this for a while; he can’t find any examples of masculinity that aren’t deemed “toxic” by these hatemongers.
