"Critical Theory"? some are explicitly associated w/ that term (& the Frankfurt School)... others are 2-3 steps removed, but rely on a similar basic structure

I am talking about the critical theory which drew on postmodernism - postcolonial studies, intersectionality, critical race theory, queer theory etc.

Yes, i know. Its not an ideal term (partly because it also references pre-PoMo social-science)... ... but if you want something "other than PoMo" as a blanket term, "Critical Studies" is probably as good as any. I think its also used regularly by people within those fields.
