I have now given up on Keto. It worked well at reducing my neurological symptoms but I gained a lb approximately every 3 days and I can't afford that. Now on a low calorie diet and will consider returning to keto when I am at a healthy weight. https://twitter.com/EnlghtnmntLibrl/status/991431599945216000 …

I get the best of both worlds if I do a low calorie keto diet but because fat has so many calories, I am constantly hungry and miserable. It will become an option when I am slim & doing a lot of exercise and can afford to eat 2000 calories a day. Can get 3 small meals for that

I think keto works well for people who get filled up quickly on fatty food. The stuff I was reading said many people only feel the need to eat small amounts once or twice a day. I am not one of those people, however.

I have been trying determinedly to lose weight for 2 months. In March, I lost 8 lbs by trying keto & then low calorie keto & then low-calorie non-keto. In April, I put on 8lbs by making sure I stayed in ketosis but eating whenever I was hungry. May will be 1200 calories a day

According to my fitbit, I'm burning 3700 calories a day. If I eat 1200 5 days a week, 2000 one day a week and 2,500 one day a week, I should lose 4lbs a week. Maybe not so much if my metabolism has been screwed up by the meds. But I will stick to this for all of May & report
