If a gay Christian decides to be celibate because he thinks gay sex is wrong, he must be free to make that choice and not be intimidated or harassed for it. He is not entitled to demand others support his views on sexuality & cannot reasonably claim to be bullied if they don't.

I have only scanned it but anecdotally I would say that the Catholic Church in the UK can sometimes feel more conservative than bits of the South American Church. May be a by product of them absorbing the CoE objectors to women’s ordination.

Glad it wasn’t what you meant. Maybe I was being over sensitive but it didn’t come across to me from your blog. There is plenty of campaigning within the Church to change things. It is a bit irritating when the impression is created that all the pressure comes from outside.
