Postmodernism seems to me to be mostly a healthy skepticism (about how well our interpretations track any underlying objective reality) taken too far, mashed up with a healthy cynicism (about the motives of the white patriarchy) taken too far.

I'll just add to that that my rhetorical strategy is to start with the good impulse driving many postmodernists, and try to highlight where many go wrong from there.
