To answer this question you first have to determine what it means to exist. Once you define existence, you can answer the question of God.

So instead of trying to define a common understanding of terms because you think it is futile (which is reasonable, I would never try to force a convo), you retweet the reasonable question as if it it was in bad faith, in some sort of attempt at social signaling?

So the question of what it means to exist is silly? I thin it is fundamental to the atheist & theist belief structures. Maybe it’s silly because you have the answer? If so, what is it?

I think you are assuming that I think I have the answer, you are implying that you do, but answering is useless. Is the answer some sort of secret atheist wisdom, that only the highest ranking members are privy too? LOL, very silly.

No, I suspect you will problematise the term forever so no real conversation can ever takes place. I've had too many of these derailed-to-definitions conversations so I am warning other people not to enter them.

The context of our conversation is you explaining how atheists define certain concepts. My apologies for engaging in that “type of thinking” with you...

Big interstate here. The next lane over. Would tie it back to Peterson (who I am sure would disagree with me), if she were to engage in my line of thinking, but she would rather engage in social media signaling. I am fine with that. I would have expected otherwise. Amusing though

Yes, sometimes I prefer to use tweets as examples of a kind of thinking than engage with the thinking.

Before I can explain, we'd need to carefully define 'thinking' and 'is' and also every word which comes up in those definitions and then in those and problematise every attempt at definition. Then we never actually think about anything except language.

Ya the irony that this started with Helen defining how atheist isn’t defined, is quite silly. Even a little frustrating.
