And that dominant groups get to decide what is knowledge and this is then enforced by language (speech) so we have to change the language and we have to prioritise the 'knowledge' of marginalised people which have been excluded. This underlies everything.

She wants people to understand.

She'll get you into the mindset. I have a strange respect for Kristie Dotson. Despite thinking she is absolutely wrong about her foundational epistemological premises, I admire her clarity & reasoning from that point. If only she'd set that incredible mind to something real.
