I do see *some* justification for saying a whole group should take collective responsibility for honestly addressing a problem being caused by some members of that group but only when it's an ideological group and the problem justified ideologically. Even then, tread gently.

Whilst we can all try to get our political/ideological/relogious/ethical houses in order, individuals are only to be *blamed* for their own actions. And there is no justification for demanding ppl take responsibility for others who share immutable characteristics like sex or race

My issue is with the classifications. The problem with for example racist groups is that they are authoritarian and, well, racist, not that they are aligned to the economic right. Le pen, Swedish Democrats, NSDAP, they're centrist/left, not "far-right".
