There is some ideologising about this but to suggest it targets women specifically and is systematic and widespread is also ideologising.

Also very weird to imply it’s somehow a crusade being led by brutish misogynistic men to call women ovary-havers. Like it’s MRAs pushing trans-rights political correctness

@HPluckrose Wait a minute there: what about the trans activists who actually do abuse women for having ovaries & vaginas? Straight-up science denial seems to be at the core of much trans activism.https://terfisaslur.com/erasing-female-biology/ …2 replies 0 retweets 4 likes -

This is being given out as "official" guidance in Schools. Emperors New Clothes, much? I'd say this is indefensible. How about you? http://www.mermaidsuk.org.uk/assets/media/East%20Sussex%20schools%20transgender%20toolkit.pdf …pic.twitter.com/bgDfxWtKWi

I'd be happy with a policy to allow children to want to change in privacy to have a space to do so rather than excluding trans kids from the space.

You don't see any issue with biologically male & female teens showering naked together, when the only criteria is self-identity? Why should everyone else be forced to accept the expression of a minority without question? Isn't this imposing a (utopian) ideology on everyone else?

We wrote this about it but I have already said I support the right to change privately. Do teens shower naked together anyway? Never did at my school or my daughters. Kids want privacy generally.https://areomagazine.com/2017/09/27/an-argument-for-a-liberal-and-rational-approach-to-transgender-rights-and-inclusion/ …

For sure... But what I'm specifically raising is this bizarre science-denying ideological insistence that biological sex is irrelevant, that gender is solely in one's head, and that those who even remotely question any aspect of this is some sort of trans hating fascist...

That's what we wrote about. The science-denial on both sides of the debate. Those who claim reproductive systems are not indications of biological sex and those who claim they are the only indication of biological sex and ignore brains and hormones.

But I have already said that trans activist loons exist and are lunatics who need opposing.
