Weird psychological thing. As a writer, I can set my own schedule & rules but if I get showered & dressed in something smartish with hair done & make-up on as soon as I get up, my working day will be much more productive than if I simply move to my workstation in my pyjamas.

Why would affirmations or visualizations cause skepticism? Both are studied techniques of behavior change.
