You're not, no. You just don't prevent *other people* from inviting guests they want to hear and then from hearing them. You remain free not to invite anyone or attend anything.

Yes, I could act in opposition to the principle of freedom of speech too but I'm not sure how two wrongs would make a right. There'd be even less freedom of speech then. I won't sink to their level.

Preventing people from speaking or others from hearing people they want to hear speak is contrary to the *principle* of free speech, yes. This is much bigger than the laws of various countries which pertain to what the government can & can't do, particularly one I don't live in.
