I get this argument and support reasonable feminists who want to reclaim the term. ??? Revolutionary movements generally don't make things happen. Changes in society do. But can you think of any which prioritised men's issues over women's? The civil rights movement? Feminism? Gay Pride?

The American Revolution sure made things happen - women partook of the struggle, there was some muttering about emancipation along the way, and then said women got shoved back into subordinate roles as soon as the fight was won. This is a general pattern.
