I'll find one day a link to an article on the niqab where the author claims that the women she interviewed found it "empowering", while when you read the actual interview quotes you understand that they wore it to avoid being harassed by other members of their community...

I criticise my countries feminism all the time, they are just parrots. Since MeToo they have been Zombied though it needs to be dealt with we're seeing almost demagogue level nuttiness. They go quiet when you ask them why they won't help women in real patriarchies, all of them.
