It seems odd that it would be a bad thing for a man to admit to finding a woman intimidating from a feminist perspective. It certainly doesn't fit with notions of toxic masculinity or the male oppressor/female oppressed narrative.

It certainly seems very difficult to get the balance right. If a man is assertive, he's being dominating, if he is nervous, this is also wrong. He's to speak to her on a level but not as he would speak to other men and also be careful never to explain anything?

Women say they find me intimidating at first never had any man call me that. Men tell me they think im tough, a go getter, brave etc. What is your statement supposed to mean?
-
No statement. I am questioning the tweet.

The thread indicates that a man calling a woman intimidating is sexist.

Why is she inferring the motives of every man that has called a female superior “super smart” to be malicious?
