One of the things which most bemuses me as a Brit is the frequency with which North Americans will suddenly start arguing about the correct usage of mayonnaise in my mentions, apropos of absolutely nothing. Clearly, this is a matter of some cultural significance.

I don’t know what English mustard is. We do get German mustard here though. I see it everywhere.

It's probably a variation of what you call yellow mustard tho the American mustard I have tried is yellow and sweet!

Regular yellow isn’t sweet, but yellow honey mustard is common here. (My least favorite, but serves a certain purpose)
